Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies and local storage this website uses, and what "Accept" and "Decline" on our cookie banner actually do.
1. What we use
We use only a small number of strictly necessary items stored in your browser: a sign-in token (kept in local storage, not a cookie, so you stay signed in), your chosen display language, a security check from Cloudflare Turnstile on public forms (to block automated abuse), and the cookie choice you make on the banner itself. We do not use any advertising or analytics cookies today.
2. Why these don't need your consent
Everything listed above is "strictly necessary" - the site cannot sign you in, remember your language, or protect its forms from bots without it. Under GDPR, UK PECR, and similar laws, strictly necessary storage is used regardless of your Accept/Decline choice, the same way it would be if the banner didn't exist.
3. What Accept / Decline changes
Right now, nothing optional is set on this site, so Accept and Decline have the same practical effect - we simply remember which you chose. If we ever add analytics or similar optional cookies in future, they will only run after you Accept; choosing Decline keeps them off. You can change your choice anytime using "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
4. Your choice, and your data
You can accept, decline, or change your choice at any time - it never affects your ability to browse the site, book a seva, or donate. For everything else we do with personal data you give us directly (bookings, donations, your account), see our Privacy Policy.
